Jauja are you?

Touch down, I am now in my third area. I am now in the first and oldest city here in Peru, I am now in Jauja. It is really cold here and I am shakin'. I just got here and I traveled 8 hours again by bus, and I super proud to tell you that I did'nt throw up. I will be with two Elders, yes, you've heard that we will be in trio. I will be with Elder Hurst (US) and Elder Maqui (Peru). It is my first time to with two Elderes and it would be crazy I think.

I knew Jauja before for their Airport and I been here twice. It's beautiful and it is flat. Thank goodness I will never climb mountains again. Anyway, our apartment is near in the Capilla and our pension is just under our house, so it is really easy.

A lot things is happened this week, like we received a lot news that our mission will be closing some areas including my previous area in Ambo. A lot of Gringos will go home this change and next change and there's no enough missionary  to fill those areas. So, sad but it is okay. Va pasar.

Part of this, we also waved goodbye with our current Mission President last Multi Zona. President Silva gave his last training to us. He taught and made us realized how important to keep the commandments no matter what is the conditions are. He shared his examples how God blessed him by keeping the commandments including temple marriage and also obeying mission rules. Then, we ate steak at the conference and he asked me to take pictures in the Conference so I have the mission camera with me. It is really fun. We have official pin in our mission it is super cool.

La verdad, it feel excited to start this change because I am new area and comp and new Mission President. I don't know I have this great motivation to never stop what I have started and still continue studying and learning. Change is always crazy like you can't pick your new area nor your comp but that how it is.

Before I end this email I would like to send thank you to my Papa Candido (Dinsky).
I would like to gave thanks to you Pa. For being strong and showing us that humor can surpass any problems in life. Take care 'Pa. Te amo mucho.
