Feliz Dia de la Patrias!

Somos libres, seámoslo siempre
y antes niegue sus luces el Sol,
que faltemos al voto solemne
que la Patria al Eterno elevó.

So, Feliz Dia de Patria PERU! 🍻
Time to say goodbye to July and I am now ready to welcome August! Time runs fast this week and it is really uplifting and really magnificent.
Your emails made me so happy! Especially emails from Sister Garcia and Sister Gagarin who's really happy 'cause she's home! Haha. Muchas gracias!

You know what, there was no change this #CHANGE. My and my comp will stay here for another chance. And how cool is that? 😶 So, we will just continue working hard here in Jauja!

This week is really fun. Why? Because of Fiestas Patrias! We went outside last Tuesday knocking doors, only to found that all people are out to see the Marching Parade in the Plaza. I am not exaggerating but when they say Fiesta here, it is really #PARTA.

Students, teachers, and anybody of organization marched at the plaza. A lot of people! It reminds me so much of home. People are also drinking on the streets. Streets vendors are everywhere.

This week also we have a Capilla Abierta (Open Church Activity). It helps the people of Jauja to know more about our beliefs and culture inside the church. What are the doctrines that we are teaching and what is the thing that we believe to be true? Every organization designed their respective rooms and it was so beautiful. Our recent investigator named Luis came and it was so #YESH.

We also went outside with our Presidente de Cuorum to proselyte in the plaza and we gave folletos and El Libro de Mormon to every person that we met. It is really awesome, we even talked to some old investigators of the church before. What makes it so fun is that the youths joined us in proselyting activities.

What more? Ah, yah, we traveled today in Huancayo to get our money and not knowing that our money is not yet deposited so we just came back real quick, haha. #roadtrip. Last night we ate #paneton and it is really gooooooooooood. Paneton is like cake with dried fruits on it. It is really matched well with hot chocolate. So, my week is just like that.

TO ALL RETURNED MISSIONARIES friends out there. I need your IDEAS.

Can you share some of your amazing contacting skills/ideas? (Yung mga magrereply pang uuwi ko ng Inka Cola at some cool stuffs from Peru like patatas! haha)
