Many are cold but few are FROZEN

Hola everyone! Como estas?

Me I am super good and I am kicking and breathing (literal). I don't know I have little difficulty of breathing here in Jauja because it is really cold here and the season is really dry. I still have cold pero still I am okay!

It is time is really fast, look it is already my 5th week here in Jauja and a lot of miracles and stories unfolded here. I learned a lot of lessons form the people here and my companion.

Companion Study
I love companion study moments. I am so grateful to have my Pèruvian companion who keep teaching me to be a great teacher as I can in lessons especially guiding me in the language part. We studied lessons 1-3 and we even try how to teach like MTC approach. It is fine and it made me humble.

That I don't know all. It made me realize that we need to not to stop learning missionary lessons like Restoration and Plan of Salvation because when we think that we know-it-all the Spirit will not guide us when we teach.
In our Multi-Zona Conference we are taught also that we are just instruments of God's message. The real teacher is the Holy Ghost. I testify that the Holy Ghost is the one who will take the messages of the gospel to the hearts of the people that we are teaching. But, it is requisite that we need also to learn all the lesson and know them by heart, in simple words we need to do our part too.

Contacting the unloved ones
We keep contacting to find people here in Jauja. We're struggling to find people here to teach but we're super blessed to find two new people with interest this last week. I was so happy.
We found a guy named John and he is really cool he asked some amazing questions about the Plan of Salvation and it went well. We also found find Hna. Titiana that knows missionaries since '96's I felt little happy because once again we're in her house to teach her about the church. I just hope that they will progress before I left Jauja. Hahahaha. (I really want to go out of here)

Yesterday, we met a homeless girl in the plaza. She is dancing to survive for everyday needs. We gave her a photo of Jesus Christ and she cried really hard. It is really sad to see her crying, she said that her own family rejected her and she have one child, and she have AIDS. I felt sorry about her and she´s really freezing cold. My comp gave her gloves to keep her warm and our pension gave us sweaters to give it to her. She might not progress but I least we lifted up someone by giving message that Jesus Christ is alive and He is there and knows her. Those words are not just for her it for everyone that felt unloved and rejected.

It's very spiritual.

HOLA
Anyway, we had a plan here in mission that when we teach we will make the HOLA approach. It goes like this.

H-ermano/a (Brother/Sister)
O-rar (pray)
L-eer (read the scripture)
A-sistir (attend church)

I love it. Because this 4 are the basic commitments that we gave to people to progress. We also trained not to obliged people to do this, but I N V I T E to do this commitments in their own willingness. For them to have their own conversion. Our training is really awesome.

NUEVO PRESIDENTE! MABUHAY Presidente Cabrera!
Our new President is super cool. And her wife is really coooooooooool! They're both retornados (RMs).
We went to Huatapallana. We went there to trek and it is really cool. I almost died. Hahaha. Huatapallana is really it is just so that it is really high. The summit is literalmente hielo. My comp really wanted to go at the peak, but we're not able because we I was super CANSADO.  Since it is really high, I also have difficulty breathing since ther's no enough oxygen in the top.

This multi-zone P-day gave me a lot of experiences. While we're climbing up I had cramps with two of my legs. I almost died. Hahaha. Thanks to my comp by helping  me to push myself to finish the trek. We went up to the mountain 9 in the morning and we up finishing like 3 at the afternoon. Hahaha. Going up is really hard and going down is really worst. 'Cause the ice are melting and the passages are little bit slippery. I don't want to remember experiences, so I will stop on here. Hahaha. I will never go back to that place. NUNCA MAS!

Multi-Zone P-DAYS are always the best since you have a chance to talk with your old compies and some missionaries in the different parts of the world and it is fun. I enjoyed it.
I saw Elder Muñoz, my dad and we have to chance to talk about anything and it's super cool.

We also have a good news. Our FONDO Personal  will be more. Haha. Before we are only recieving 100 soles (1500 PHP) but now we have additional 40 soles and other 40 soles for the pasaje! So, yesh! Hashtag change!

Ano pa ba? Es todo mi familia y amigo.

PS: I-EMAIL niyo naman ako! Hahaha. I will be in my 8th month here in mission.
