Touchdown: New Calling
So, here's what I came up with. Why don't I start writing diary entries on my blog? Look at how outdated that is. However, we are grateful that we do not have access to the internet or smartphones!
I'm also writing this to remind myself of what's going on in the mission and for the sake of my children's future. You might not realize it, but missionary work in the future will be entirely virtual.
(Greetings, future Elders and Sisters Gamboa.)
Despite all that is going on, life is so enjoyable. I'm still thankful for the opportunity to serve on this mission. Being a missionary at this time would be ideal. The best moment to serve God is now. It is clear that there have been and continue to be many negative events in the world, yet we may still appreciate the beauty of each moment. Yes, you are a survivor if you are still living. Keep fighting.
I've arrived at the mission's office. They invited me to apply for the position of Secretary of Technology and Registros. My job entails tracking and uploading messages and 'videos' to the internet. I built Facebook sites for each of our zones. I also manage our mission's Facebook page, where we post about mission updates, photographs, and videos. It's all right. I enjoy performing my project since I enjoy social media and it is a good match for my personality. I also like educating all missionaries on how to use technology to accomplish their missionary goals of inviting others to faith in Christ. We also provide a handbook and online instruction on how to utilize media and technology more effectively.
I am super grateful for this new calling that they assigned to me, I know that God has a purpose, I know in my heart that I still need to learn some new things but with Him as my colleague He will help me.
