Technology and some Updates

I woke up so early this morning. It's really cold. Elder Gomez and I went down to the office to send some permits and phones in La Merced Zone. It was 4:00 am in morning. Had some weird dreams too.

We had a reunion or meeting with the president this day.  We established what are things that are "yes" or "no". I am a bit overwhelmed with my job as a tech specialist. Our president wanted me to speak at every conference that we have here in our mission. It's fine but every week is not. We handed them the new manual for the Safeguards of Technology to help missionaries to maximize their phone usage to use it to serve and share the message of God. I know many of the missionaries are new to these things, but I know it is really important to help them enjoy the blessings of technology. I testify that technology is a blessing from above to make the work progress.

Things that I need to do:
1. Advise the whole mission to transfer all their record of Area Book to their digital one.
2. Activate all smartphones.
3. Explain to them the importance of using tools in their phones to transfer the ''Area Book planner'' to a digital one.
4. To be an example to all missionaries to use the technology in the best possible way.

I had a meeting with sister Hart our assigned Tech Support. After a very long hold of her since we have been various meetings and interviews. She was really helpful and gave a lot of insights on how we can help our mission.

Today, the mission president received his new revelation about the transfer. It is a really unbalanced transfer but I know it is inspired by Heavenly guidance. I've been to different transfers so I know the feeling of different missionaries who will be sent from different areas one to another. It is really hard to say goodbye especially in this time of the pandemic. I hope all the missionaries will be safe from travelling and none of them will be infected with the virus. We pray for this new change that all of them will travel safe and sound. I am just lucky that I am in the office, so I am out for a while with this transfer. I know that sometimes God's plan is not aligned with our plans but His plans are always right.

"Trust the Lord and do good; live in the land, and farm faithfulness." — Psalm 37:3

God will be there for you no matter what if you put your head down, work hard, and cultivate a genuine relationship with Him.
