Hello there, everyone. How are you all doing today? It's been a while since I've updated my blog. It's still a mystery why I can't upgrade my phone even though I have one. Perhaps we need to reorganize our priorities. I have a messed-up head, a messed-up room, and disorganized thinking.
The mission office Elders are now residing next to it. We live in a building that is similar to a condominium. The fourth floor is where we are. It's a modest apartment with three bedrooms filled with beds to accommodate various missionaries entering or leaving the mission. Because my companions are all Peruvians, we have a tiny kitchen stocked with Peruvian foods.
Our room is dark and cold since it is surrounded on three sides by another structure. Unfortunately, we don't have a heater and aren't permitted to use one because it uses a lot of power. And this apartment is a shambles, and it's incredibly untidy; I'm sure Sister Cabrera said something to the effect of we're so untidy because it is, and I understood that your spirituality is affected by your environment.
It's a mess, and I need to declutter myself and begin setting objectives to learn again in my Bible study and personal prayer. I know it's my fault; I didn't prioritize them since we have so much going on at the workplace. Every day on the mission, I need to remind myself to at least learn something new. Before I return home, I only have 66 days left. I need to make some changes. And the days are rushing past, and we have no control over it.
It was great last week in the President's House of the Mission. While I was there, I thought about a number of things such as the activities that could help missionaries in their daily life. We've come to learn more about the mission's aim. We had such much fun with the President that we played table tennis, darts, and UNO card games with him. I don't particularly enjoy playing because I am not a competitive person, but I did it in order to become more sociable with the other missionaries. We had a lot of fun chatting about our testimonies and mission life. We ate a lot of delicious food, of course. Last week, that was Elder Salvatierra and Elder Gomez, who are now returning to their home nations as Argentina opens its borders.

The new assistant to President Elder Felix (he was one of my roommates at the MTC in Lima, served in Ecuador Quito Mission but was reassigned because of the pandemic. At the right, was my companion Elder Tirado, he is from Lima, a great guy with a lot of vision and he's so funny.
Despedida of Elder Gomez and Elder Salvatierra. They've cooked the best barbeque I had in my life. They're the best cook and the best people.

Evidence that I am getting fatter in the mission. This photo was taken when I and Elder Salvatierra (Assistant of the President) was recording one of our content on Facebook. He is a great pianist and a good person.
