Over October

Good morning, everyone. I am good. I am having fun. To be honest I stop counting the days left that I have here on the mission. I just realized that it will not gonna help me or my companion. I also stop expecting some international flights since it always gives me heartbreaks when our Secretario Personal announces that still, they're looking for some options and way-round to get in my home. So, better to enjoy each day I have here in the mission instead of just merely waiting. 

I am teaching English class every night. It is good, I am handling 5-8 students, it is small then I am expected but it's fine. I have students from different parts of the world such as Brazil and Argentina. I am learning to teach virtually for preparation for what my profession might call, I am still looking for that option whether I will teach or not. Let's talk after my mission. Anyway, we are using basic English, a program of English Connect to be exact. It is positive I am just hoping that we would make our class into a larger group. 

We are now sorting the mission for its best. Elder De Guzman from Lima is now the newly called assistant. We're hoping that everything will be fine now. I know that leadership is really vital for each organization that's why a good leader is a great way for us to move towards our goal in the mission. To help the children of God to receive the restored Gospel. 

Elder Urcia, my companion, is also maturing as a person; he is a very wonderful guy who constantly guides and motivates me to be less lazy and trunky by pushing me to my limits. Despite the fact that it is really difficult to get to work right now because of the pandemic, we are still able to watch new individuals teach in Concepcion thanks to his charisma. By providing an example for him, I am also assisting him in becoming more modest and teachable. This week we have a baptism, and with the support of the members, we will be able to assist Hermana Fernanda in being baptized. She had been interested in researching the church since she was a child but had been unable to do so due to various reasons. I think that everything has its time in heaven, and I am glad that she was able to do so.

The rainy season starts at Junin, like what I always say I hate rainy season at the mission because it always kills the work. 

I will miss this idyllic scene in the beautiful land of Concepcion.
