No Unhallowed Hands

I miss walking down to those unspecific streets and meeting new people . I miss wearing my white shirt with my monotones ties. I miss those missionary lessons and teaching it with my 17 months broken Spanish. Life is totally different now.

I saw missionaries going home. Hearing news about deaths and cases. Economic in arrears. But, good news too, like lowered air pollution and I am still alive!

I just don't know, this quarantine make life's unyeilding but in makes you realize that a lot of things. Maybe, sometimes God want His children to have a break. To make His children realize how to ''breathe'' and to remember Him (you know people are started to ''kapit'' in that Supreme Being.

Anyway, you might wonder how am I really doing. I am lucky to say that I gained weight again and my ''panza'' started to grow again. Eating now is not just a necessity it is a hobby aside from just thinking about home. Trunky alert!!! I am re-discovering myself too, if I could cook. We have kitchen in my new apartment. I wish I  could cook adodo.

Our mission hired a professional fitness trainer to help us reduce stress and (fats) that we gained. We do it by Zoom. Thank you technology for making my body AWAKE. Hahaha. Funny, huh. We do it in our pension's house because we don't have smartphone, yet.

Update.

We had a baptism last Saturday. I was really spiritual. How it happened?
Well, quick story. An hour before the announcement of quarantined, we invited our investigators to be baptized (Hermana Alexcia, Ruth, Daniela and hermanito Jorge). They happily accepted the invitations and we continue teaching them amidst the cuarentena through phone.

Then, last Saturday, 2nd of May, we baptized and confirmed them. Bishop and our ward mission leader was there too. We entered the church one by one for people a way for people not notice us.
Chairs in the room are separated. My former companion Elder Julca with his new companion too was there. My companion Elder Otavalo was also there to witness and for the blessings of the Holy Ghost.

The day was really beautiful and spiritual. I felt the Spirit. Though, we're in quarantine, the love of our Heavenly Father really was strong and contangious like coranavirus. Though, there were no messages given in this baptismal service, the warm Spirit was present. I true testify that ''no unhallowed'' hands can stop missionary work. His work is my work as the book that I am presently reading. It says ''that you and God are business partner''. It is my humble testimony that God lives. He loves His children. He is aware of us. Baptism is necessary for our salvation. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. The Church is true and we are guided by the power of priesthood.

That's why I am still here in Pèru. Loving it everyday and feeling the love of my Father!
